If anyone was counting on this game starting on time, forget it.

DeWitt designated for assignment to make room for Travis Wood.

Looks like we may get a game after all, in about a half-hour or so.

Not a bad start by TWood today, at least better than either of Wells's this year. I hope he's superseded Wells on the franchise depth chart, because I think he pretty clearly has more upside than Wells does.

I guess we'll see what happens to him tomorrow, roster-wise.

How does LaHair go 3-3 with a walk and a double and not score or drive anyone in? The Cubs offense is just horrible.

I'm rooting for Castillo to get his first hit in the next inning. I'd really like to see him show that can play at the bigs.

So many opportunities to at least tie it just totally squandered.

And to answer McCoy's question: because Soriano sucks and Castro is a bit over-zealous at times.

What a retarded send.

I mean, I can appreciate aggressive baserunning, but why send DeJesus there? If you hold him, you've got first and third (maybe second and third) with just one out and your two best hitters coming up.

Thought that went off Dolis' face.

Plus Campana is fast as hell and so is Castro there is no way they would go for a double play unless it was hit right at the SS or 2B.

Soriano doesn't look like he could get a ball to the warning track at this point.

Mather is a natural-born Cub.

Cubs need to win it here. I don't expect Kerry Wood to keep the Dodgers off the board.

Castillo finally gets on base! Granted it was an IBB but still.

It's a walk-off!
