Cotter is doing a great job -- crisp questions, each right for the guys he's talking to, then letting them go. Excellent work.

Look at this page, boys. Look at all those gorgeous "E's" in all the right places. You gotta believe.

Pedro's calf looked OK when he was running across the field celebrating.

I love you guys. The last xx years I've been on this site have made me a better person. This is sweeter with you boys.

This has been a tremendous job by SNY on the postgame. Congrats everyone.

Who is this female reporter? I don't think I've ever seen her before. She's pretty hot.

I don't care what anyone else says, I think Rick Peterson is a pretty smart guy.

That picture of Reyes and Wright hugging after mugging for the camera could be my wallpaper for about the next 50 years or so.

Oh, how far we've come from Takatsu and Langerhans. I LOVE THIS TEAM!!!

I have often thought of what great fans Boy Wonders #1 and #2 are and that they have never experienced a World Championship and that they have been Met fans maybe exclusively during the Yankee Dark Age.

For the loser now
Will be later to win
For the times they are a-changin'.

Hear, hear, Tom.

Here's hoping Jose and David and Pedro give Matt and Jeremy what Tom and Cleon and Tug gave me and what Darryl and Doc and Keith and Mookie gave another generation . . . and that it's only a month or so away!

Sam, to bring this full circle: A splendid time is guaranteed for all...

It just hit that no Keith in the playoffs. :(

Thanks for all the love guys.

It's really been quite a season, all made better by experiencing it with all you. Through all of the ups and downs the last few seasons both daily as we have chatted away in these chatters (which have always been awesome) and over the long haul in the threads, I've had a blast discussing the Mets (and maybe a few other things along the way). Like OFF said, to think where we came from with the discussions in the old chatters a few years ago to the ones now and with all the things in between (honestly, this place and the discussions here most help me deal with the most frustrating and heartbreaking deal I have ever experienced as a sports fan, which is the The Trade That Will Not Be Said By Name).

The mission is far from over and I look forward to experiencing the first Met postseason since all of us have started chattering with all of you.
