It's like Collins is trying to prove he's the awesome one by winning with garbage instead of his actual better players.
   6. Lassus Posted: May 09, 2012 at 07:21 PM (#4127717)
OK, I'm obviously not paying enough attention, because I had no idea that Bay had fractured a rib.
   7. AJMcCringleberry Posted: May 09, 2012 at 07:23 PM (#4127718)
Tejada and Thole are on the DL too.
   8. AJMcCringleberry Posted: May 09, 2012 at 07:24 PM (#4127720)
That was an awful swing.
   9. Lassus Posted: May 09, 2012 at 07:36 PM (#4127729)
Well, that was annoying.
   10. AJMcCringleberry Posted: May 09, 2012 at 07:49 PM (#4127733)
I like Murph.
   11. Yonder Alonso in misguided trousers (cardinal) Posted: May 09, 2012 at 07:55 PM (#4127739)
Seems to be getting more comfortable at 2b, too.
   12. Lassus Posted: May 09, 2012 at 08:00 PM (#4127742)
Rottino, looking so freaking nonchalant up there is for older players.

Man, I can't believe I said that.
   13. Yonder Alonso in misguided trousers (cardinal) Posted: May 09, 2012 at 08:04 PM (#4127750)
Channeling Billy Wagner, eh?
   14. AJMcCringleberry Posted: May 09, 2012 at 08:11 PM (#4127753)
Harvey had 6 shutout innings last night. How long until he replaces Batista?

Yikes, Familia has 25 walks in 26 IP.

I love this dogsh!t version of the Phillies.
   16. Dog on the sidewalk has an ugly bracelet Posted: May 09, 2012 at 09:11 PM (#4127816)
I have enjoyed the late innings during this series
   17. Lassus Posted: May 09, 2012 at 09:12 PM (#4127818)
I hate to be a Mets fan, but how on earth do we only end up one run ahead there?
   18. Adam Starblind Posted: May 09, 2012 at 09:12 PM (#4127820)
Hey, didn't the Phils used to have some big fat guy at first and a hipster idiot at second who were pretty good?
   19. Lassus Posted: May 09, 2012 at 09:16 PM (#4127823)
Honestly, I had truly forgotten Utley even existed until he was mentioned earlier. Weird.
   20. Lassus Posted: May 09, 2012 at 09:22 PM (#4127830)
Good David is good.
   21. Adam Starblind Posted: May 09, 2012 at 09:25 PM (#4127834)
Heck is the deal with this guy? Why isn't he striking out constantly? Why is he hitting .380? Makes no sense.
   22. Dog on the sidewalk has an ugly bracelet Posted: May 09, 2012 at 09:31 PM (#4127840)
Hunter Pence is a hero.
   23. Dog on the sidewalk has an ugly bracelet Posted: May 09, 2012 at 09:33 PM (#4127842)

Please let this mean Ike is back.
   26. Yonder Alonso in misguided trousers (cardinal) Posted: May 09, 2012 at 09:33 PM (#4127845)
That was hit pretty far.
   27. AJMcCringleberry Posted: May 09, 2012 at 09:35 PM (#4127847)
IKE!
   28. Adam Starblind Posted: May 09, 2012 at 09:40 PM (#4127853)
He reminds me a lot of Strawberry, and not just because it makes me feel like a decent human being to liken players of different races - the whole lanky left handed powerhitter, pronounced leg kick, long swing, the uniform.
   29. Lassus Posted: May 09, 2012 at 09:45 PM (#4127860)
Guys, no. Let's get this closed out, please.
   30. AJMcCringleberry Posted: May 09, 2012 at 09:52 PM (#4127869)
This has been a good series.
   31. Lassus Posted: May 09, 2012 at 09:55 PM (#4127874)
And Washington is losing by two now.
   32. Adam Starblind Posted: May 09, 2012 at 09:56 PM (#4127875)
It would be really nice if they could get, you know, rid of Jason Bay. I'm not saying they should kill him. But, if he never showed up again I promise I wouldn't ask any questions.
   33. Adam Starblind Posted: May 09, 2012 at 10:00 PM (#4127883)
Carrasco should walk in to Enter Sandman, just for the LOLs.
   34. Adam Starblind Posted: May 09, 2012 at 10:01 PM (#4127885)
Maybe Mister Sandman.
   35. Lassus Posted: May 09, 2012 at 10:04 PM (#4127891)
OK, DJ Carrasco is not the answer to any questions we have.

Called the sweep. We rock.
   36. Adam Starblind Posted: May 09, 2012 at 10:04 PM (#4127892)
Happy kneecap!
