Wow, I expected this chatter to be full already.
   2. The Yankee Clapper Posted: April 28, 2012 at 09:30 PM (#4118765)
The chat starts now.
   3. The Yankee Clapper Posted: April 28, 2012 at 09:32 PM (#4118769)
Harper may not have got the memo.
   4. Guapo Posted: April 28, 2012 at 09:41 PM (#4118774)
That was the most glorious comebacker to the mound I've ever seen.
   5. Rafael Bellylard: The Grinch of Orlando. Posted: April 28, 2012 at 09:58 PM (#4118781)
I thought I was about to see a career-ending injury.
   6. Dan Posted: April 28, 2012 at 10:56 PM (#4118801)
First hit for Harper! Double to the base of the wall in dead center hit over Kemp's head!
   7. The Yankee Clapper Posted: April 28, 2012 at 10:57 PM (#4118802)
Line drive double to CF wall - not a bad start for 19.
   8. Dale Sams Posted: April 28, 2012 at 10:58 PM (#4118803)
What in gods name is growing out of Harper's head?
   9. Rafael Bellylard: The Grinch of Orlando. Posted: April 28, 2012 at 10:58 PM (#4118804)
The double was impressive, but the knocking his own helmet off his head was bush.
   10. Dale Sams Posted: April 28, 2012 at 11:00 PM (#4118805)
Yeah, I was thinking "Oh, God he's not really gonna get gunned down by 20 feet by Kemp?
   11. Dan Posted: April 28, 2012 at 11:14 PM (#4118808)
Harper just uncorked a fantastic throw, but Ramos ###### it up.
   12. Dan Posted: April 28, 2012 at 11:14 PM (#4118809)
Oh. Hairston swiped the ball out of the glove a la ARod, actually. Weak.
   13. Rafael Bellylard: The Grinch of Orlando. Posted: April 28, 2012 at 11:14 PM (#4118810)
That throw was more impressive than the double. Kid's here to stay.
   14. Esoteric Posted: April 28, 2012 at 11:15 PM (#4118811)
Is what Hairston did illegal?
   15. Dale Sams Posted: April 28, 2012 at 11:16 PM (#4118814)
No no..he didnt swipe the ball out, it just came out..It looked like Hairston tried to swipe th ball away as it lasy on the ground, but he missed. Umps got it right.
   16. Dan Posted: April 28, 2012 at 11:27 PM (#4118817)
Looked like he swiped the ball out to me on the replay they showed on PRIM feed.
   17. Dan Posted: April 28, 2012 at 11:28 PM (#4118818)
Is what Hairston did illegal?

Almost certain that it is. They called ARod out when he did it against the Red Sox.
   18. Dan Posted: April 28, 2012 at 11:33 PM (#4118820)
Hairston ABSOLUTELY 100% swiped the ball out of Ramos' glove. Just watched the replay again.
   19. Dale Sams Posted: April 28, 2012 at 11:39 PM (#4118823)
Well, neither i nor the Nats announcers saw it.
   20. Esoteric Posted: April 28, 2012 at 11:52 PM (#4118826)
Way to go Bryce Harper!
   21. The Yankee Clapper Posted: April 28, 2012 at 11:54 PM (#4118828)
Game winning RBI would be a pretty good night for Harper if the bullpen can hold on.
   22. Guapo Posted: April 29, 2012 at 12:01 AM (#4118833)
Is Tony Gwynn Jr.'s arm really that bad, or did the ball slip or something?
   23. Dan Posted: April 29, 2012 at 12:06 AM (#4118834)
Rodriguez is all over the place.
   24. Dale Sams Posted: April 29, 2012 at 12:19 AM (#4118839)
If ever there was a need for a mid-bat pitcher replacement, it would be after that tying run came across
   25. Dan Posted: April 29, 2012 at 12:20 AM (#4118842)
Good lord what an ugly inning.
   26. Dale Sams Posted: April 29, 2012 at 12:22 AM (#4118845)
Called it.
   27. The Yankee Clapper Posted: April 29, 2012 at 12:28 AM (#4118852)
Only fitting for Harper to have the opportunity to win the game in extra innings.
   28. Dale Sams Posted: April 29, 2012 at 12:39 AM (#4118853)
Great game
   29. Dale Sams Posted: April 29, 2012 at 12:44 AM (#4118855)
Wow Dan, you were right. After seeing Scully point out Hairstons left hand, he just knocked it out, and then tried to swipe it away again...like some kind of retarded Sandlot game play.
   30. Joey B. is counting the days to Trea Turner Posted: April 29, 2012 at 03:33 PM (#4119123)
Where the flippin' Sunday chatters? Jim obviously forgot to give the lazy chimp his daily banana this morning.
   31. Joey B. is counting the days to Trea Turner Posted: April 29, 2012 at 03:56 PM (#4119137)
Tyler Moore making his debut today, just one day after Harper's.
   32. Mr Dashwood Posted: April 29, 2012 at 04:10 PM (#4119165)
I do not recognise the name Tyler Moore, without 'Mary' in front of it. I am out of touch.
   33. Mr Dashwood Posted: April 29, 2012 at 04:15 PM (#4119172)
Tyler Moore was #16 in BA's 2012 prospect list. This amused me, from the blurb about him:

He's country strong...

I don't think 'Mary' will be a good nickname for him.
   34. Mr Dashwood Posted: April 29, 2012 at 04:16 PM (#4119173)
That's the prospect list for the Nationals, not for all baseball.
   35. Mr Dashwood Posted: April 29, 2012 at 04:17 PM (#4119176)
Y'know what, I'm going to try to put up a Chatter.
   36. Joey B. is counting the days to Trea Turner Posted: April 29, 2012 at 04:19 PM (#4119180)
Dear Nationals: just because a guy has a little bit of speed, that doesn't make him a leadoff hitter.

What I'm trying to tell you is, you can slot Desmond in the #1 spot every game the rest of the season, and he will still NEVER be a true leadoff hitter.
   37. Mr Dashwood Posted: April 29, 2012 at 04:28 PM (#4119189)
I have submitted a Game Chatter. It should be up shortly. Then we can talk about the Dodgers' Two True Outcome first inning.
