It'll be interesting to see how Bannister does because he is facing the Nationals for the second time.
It's pretty simple. The Mets think they have enough offense and A-Hern will play enough defense to justify his spot in the lineup.
True. And whoever is in charge of the PA/audio is an imbecile. Do we have to hear Day-O every single day? And why does every moron in the crowd have to respond to Belefonte? Is that fun?
I don't know if it is control issues or if he's afraid that if he throws strikes he's going to get hit. He can't be falling 3-0 half the hitters he is facing.
Rest of the Met lineup: 0
Okay, Jose, don't give up this AB.
Mets playing small ball now.
What is the Anderson Hernandez - IPOR connection?
I am having fun watching Mets baseball.
This rocks.
IPOR stands for In-play, out(s) recorded.
Also, 5 hits in 11 innings against Bannister, sheesh.
I'll be at the game tomorrow as well.
The Royals have actually tied the game.
"And those are the teams you have to beat..."
-- every radio host, update guy, columnist, beat reporter in creation.
I think it rhymes with Igor. That's how I pronounce it, anyway.
True, but they've only played six games and have faced Hernandez, Patterson, and Willis.
I do agree, it is nice to see us not playing down to the other teams level like in years past, we are dominating them to this point...great to see
Great game!
Walked Delgado to pitch to Wright??????????
Is that wise, Mr. Robinson?
