Or not! That worked out just fine, too. (Not that I disagree with ya, Chris, but I'll take the outcome!)
Come on Jose!
And Glav gets the bunt down. I told you guys Kuo was gassed after those long FBs.
I guess it's gonna be on LoDuca, eh?
Perfect bunt Glavine!
Walk to Reyes. Let's go LoDuca!
Let's go Paulie.
Let's go Beltran!
Come on Carlos #2. Keep it going!
Big inning coming up.
And Glavine loses concentration after the Mets score.
Could be a bumpy inning.
And whoever wins the Yankees/Tigers game tomorrow, I'm rooting for them to win it in four. If there's a Game 5 in that series, the Mets play a potential Game 4 at 4:00 on Sunday. The Eagles/Cowboys play at 4.
Next.
Well, it was Kent running. Even if the throw was late, I am sure he would have obliged by overrunning the bag.
If not, you have him start the next inning, with a lefty and a righty warming. Whoever is the pinch hitter for Tomko, you take the platoon.
I mean, I know we don't have anyone throwing 101 MPH bullets . . . but couldn't someone have noticed that Tom Glavine and even John Maine are pretty decent pitchers???
Way to jinx the Trachsel and Perez starts.
Come on Stache.
They had to shoot him.
Let's see some Endy magic!
Time for some Endy Magic.
Way to jinx the Trachsel and Perez starts.
Nope, steveb. That's why I was sure to insert "totally." No matter what happens, we already have not had to rely "totally" on the offense and bullpen, with the way Maine and Glavine have contributed. No jinx potential. I got it covered.
Good job, Tom.

It won't matter, Endy's hitting a double.
