And Salty's passed ball knocks Cook out of the game.

11-15, just like last year. We ain't winning 90 this year though.

Kudos to Cook for trying to tough it out and save the bullpen 12 hours after a 13 inning game. That was a nasty looking gash.

To all of you who thought Cook should be in the ML rotation: #### you.

Wow the ball is flying today.

I guess I should say the same about Mortenson. #### that guy.

Mark Reynolds was born to play in Fenway Park. I bet Duquette would let the Sox have him for Middlebrooks and a minor league arm...

RLC that's a very Theoish idea. Middlebrooks is our first decent prospect since 2007 and we need to keep him.

Also, if Duquette likes a trade with you, you've probably got the short end of it.

Have a bomb to deep center, Ian!

Whoops, wrong chatter, my apologies.

Cook was throwing in the high 80's, about the same as 2010-2011, both years when he was mostly ineffective due to shoulder and leg issues. So, that's not good, either.

And they had a shot to get back into this game, and yet again they didn't come through with runners in scoring position.

You're a moron. Your beatification of Duquette is exactly as stupid as the beatification of Theo that you constantly decry. Duquette made some good decisions and plenty of stupid ones. You can't give him all of the credit for the Orioles hot start (there was a GM before him too, you know).

Aren't the Red Sox still barring over .300 with RISP? It all evens out over the long run.

If this team were a racehorse, it'd be in the truck on its way to the glue factory.
