Jerry Hairston was drilled by a fastball from Kevin Correia in the bottom of the first
And their was much rejoicing but was up pretty quickly and appears to be fine.
False hope

ross,
Didn't realize you were a Wisconsin guy. It was a beautiful snowfall. I watched golf instead of the Cubs today, but it felt good just knowing they were on.

This from ESPN trying to make it appear intentional. After Cubs starter Rich Hill hit two batters in a scoreless top of the first, Hairston took a pitch to the helmet from Kevin Correia
Hill hit nobody, one guy got sent to first when an inside pitch grazed his shirt and everybody was laughing about it.
If they are going to lie, at least make it believable, like Correia and Hairston spent the offseason together working as cowboys in Wyoming, but when they got to Arizona Hairston moved in with Mark Grace, and Correia is very jealous.

The pitching looked good. Marshall's got a lot of velocity, Eyre was lights out and Ryu has a heck of a 12-6 hook.

I was in right center, but those "hit batters" looked like Craig Biggio type flop artists...
