Hall of Merit — A Look at Baseball's All-Time Best Friday, May 28, 2004Hall of Merit heads to CharlotteI’m heading to Charlotte today, where I’ll be meeting up with Jeff M. for a beer before the Rush concert tonight. That should be hopefully, if we can connect in a city that is about 400 miles away for each of us . . . Anyway, if any of you all are in the Charlotte area and a) know somewhere that would be easy for Jeff and I to meet each other at, near the Verizon Ampitheatre b) want to join us Let me know, ASAP. I’ll post my cell phone in the thread, feel free to call, but try to do it this morning if you can . . . stupid AT&T roaming is $.69 a minute once I get out of VA . . . 1. JoeD has the Imperial March Stuck in His Head Posted: May 28, 2004 at 12:22 PM (#648674)Tickets are still available if you are so inclined as well . . .
I hope you and Jeff enjoy yourselves!
Worse than that sunnyday2 - the concert's being held in some guy's rec room.
(ducks)
The show was awesome - Jeff and I shared a few beers beforehand too, it was one helluva day. The band was awesome for those that care, I'll be at the Camden, NJ show in early August if anyone is in that area . . . Next time I'm on the road, I'll try to give more notice if I'm out and about, it's always cool putting a face to a name.
Marc, this tour hasn't been well publicized outside of the hardcore Rush fans, if I didn't check their website once in awhile I probably wouldn't have known about it either, as they have no new album out until late June, and that will only be their answer to Guns -n- Roses' "The Spaghetti Incident", it will be a 'covers' album.
The place was nearly packed - but it's cool to be able to get tickets the night before a show if you want to go . . . I'm glad they didn't sell out!
make that 'bachelorette' party, unfortunately my girlfriend is not a stripper :-)
