Not quite. Steinbrenner was on a previous veterans committee ballot but was crowded out by the big three managers (Cox, LaRussa and Torre) and Marvin Miller. This is the first nomination for Schuerholz and Selig.

The Boss
Will Clark
on a good day, Schuerholz
Dan R's WAR had a favorable view of Clark, as did the classic Baseball Projection Sean Smith WAR and the original Baseball Gauge DRA. Updated Baseball-Reference and Baseball Gauge have Clark as more of a borderline type, Baseball Prospectus shows him short, Kiko's WAR has him well below the standard. He was a clutch/situational RE24 type of hitter, so he deserves some bump for that. He would be a tad shy of my revised personal hall.
