There are plenty of people here who I would at least consider voting for. But the actual vote is pretty easy:

Barry Bonds
Roger Clemens
Curt Schilling

Is this one of those ballots anyone can vote on?

If so, I'll repeat the first three votes.

Barry Bonds
Roger Clemens
Curt Schilling

Fred McGriff

With four slots, would also vote for Curt Schilling. No on the rest, depending on how generous I feel regarding Rafael Palmeiro.

3 selections isn't enough. I'd also vote for Palmeiro and maybe McGriff.

I'm probably not the only one in the BBTF "Bermuda Triangle" where, on occasion, one can post in all threads except for the HOM sector. the Contemporary Era vote is in that ghetto (for me, at least), so I'd be grateful if an unbound poster could transfer this vote to that post:

Barry Bonds
Roger Clemens
Curt Schilling

Joining the consensus

Barry Bonds
Roger Clemens
Curt Schilling

All immensely overqualified, even with their many foibles.

   23. DCA Posted: November 21, 2022 at 12:10 PM (#6106297)
Bonds
Clemens
Murphy

Murphy's not the third best player on the ballot, but he clears my HOF bar (6 of the 8 would get my vote with unlimited slots). I think he may have the best total HOF case after Bonds/Clemens: back to back MVPs, face of baseball for a moment, seems like a decent human being.

These mock votes sure would look different if the BBWAA had done its damn job and put these three guys in already.

It's a vote for 3 ballot

No wonder! I would say drop Palmeiro, but I don't think there's any worry about that!
