Hornsby is the NL MMP for the second year in a row and NL position player MMP for the fourth time in five seasons.
Faber is the pitching MMP- the first White Sox hurler to win since Ed Walsh in 1910. Thornton Lee ('41) and Billy Pierce ('55) also won the AL Chicago franchise.
Rogan finished one place behind Faber for the pitching MMP and one place ahead of Oscar Charleston for the Negro League MMP. Rogan joins Satchel Paige ('44) and Luke Easter ('48) as winners with the Kansas City Monarchs.
Grimes is the NL pitching MMP. Whit Wyatt ('41), Don Newcombe ('56) and Don Drysdale ('57) also won for Brooklyn while Drysdale again ('60, '64), Koufax ('63, '65, '66), Valenzuela ('81), Hershiser ('87, '88, '89) and Kershaw (2012, '13, '14) won for the West Coast Dodgers.
