Are you sure? I've got Ruth with 7 of 9. He won in 1919, '20, '21, '23,'24, '26 and '27 with Hornsby interrupting in 1922 and '25.
Dazzy Vance of the Brooklyn Robins picks up his second pitching MMP (having previously won in 1924).
Ted Lyons and Tommy Thomas, both of the Chicago White Sox, tied for the AL pitching MMP. They finished high enough together that I'm going to forego any tiebreakers as I don't want an off-ballot placement to decide things.
Rogers Hornsby picks up his 6th NL MMP, to gow with previous victories in 1920,'21, '22, '24 and '25.
Willie Wells of the St. Louis Stars is a first-time winner of the NgL MMP.
