Jim's Lab Notes — Site News, Baseball Talk, and a Bunch of Other Stuff Friday, April 27, 2012Squishing BugsYesterday morning I updated our underlying CMS (Content Management System) Expression Engine. I needed to apply the maintenance release to better take advantage of the new caching system I’m using with the updated site. It wasn’t a major release and during my testing on my development system I didn’t notice any issues. Well, after applying the update to the site, a few issues have cropped up. I am working to squish those bugs. To date: the bug affecting comment numbering has been fixed. I am working to resolve an issue with staying logged in with multiple devices. EE has rewritten this portion of their code and it will take me a little time to figure out how they are doing things. I am also working to re-fix the bug related to an “Edit” link which is still showing up for users after the 15 minute window for editing comments expires. To help me find/fix other bugs, please let me know about any issues you find by posting in our bug report forum. |

My post:
No.
Well, I saw the Kruk segment and it was pretty clear he was joking. Still, it would be a heck of an accomplishment for Jeter to merely replicate his 2009 season. Right now, Jeter is hitting as well as ever, and has been since coming of the DL last season. That's not such a small sample size anymore.
The Jeter thread is now accepting comments.
Ditto.
