Draft signings
Today’s the last day that 2011 draft picks can be signed. I would expect a rash of announcements as we get close to the midnight deadline.
Post ‘em here.

Boyd is a HS pitcher from Ft. Myers, FL. Committed to Florida.
Royals landed Brickhouse for$ 1.5 mill. Also like the Cards getting Charlie Tilson for $1.25 mill. He was a first rd talent til he got hurt and he could be in the st louis pen quickly.
Tilson is a CF - do you mean John Stilson (500k to Toronto)? I like him a lot if healthy (SLAP tear).
Fish look like they've lost on Connor Barron.
I'm always excited to see mid-major commitments (Barron is a Southern Miss signee) turn down big money and go to school.
Barron: I think his girlfriend goes there (stupid internet) + he'll start as a frosh w/ Vollmuth gone + he's reportedly a good student, so it makes sense. I think he's a real growth stock ... good hitting environment + nice tools.
sdsuaztec4 Sam Clemens
45 minutes to go, 22 first-rounders yet to sign. #mlbdraft
Giants signed C Andrew Susac.
Harrison has worked extremely hard the last couple of months and is in the best shape of his life.
Umm, yeah!
I think I'm in Twitter viewing jail, which I've never heard of.
Maples (14th) got 2.5m over 5 yrs (2 sport deal)
Royals have already spent $5 mill before Bubba and not counting the $5 mill they handed out to theirr two top Latin signees.
Think I'm okay w/ the Burke deal.
Nice.
Mikie Mahtook signed. Archie Bradley signed for $5 mill. Jose Fernandez signed w TB for $2 mill
Cubs got a similar guy Rock Shoulders as well. I mention this 'cause his name is Rock Shoulders.
Jim Callis says Mets 11th rounder Christian Montgomery signed for $250k.
Adam Rubin says Mets 12th rounder Kenny Mathews does not sign
Just like Adam Loewen was...
$900k less than the $1.5 million bonus he and the Royals agreed on when he came out of HS, only to have him back out.
The Jays took Eliopoulos in the 43rd round this year, anyone know if they signed him?
According to some tweets of people I don't know, he did not.
anthony rendon: $6MM bonus
alex meyer: $2MM bonus
brian goodwin: $3MM bonus
matt purke: $4MM bonus
pirates top 2 picks:
gerritt cole: $8MM bonus
josh bell: $5MM bonus
i'm starting to think a hard slotting system might be a bit of a holdup in the next CBA.
Baseball America says not.
In what sense? If MLB truly wants to bring signing bonuses down, hard slotting is the only way that will happen, and the MLBPA might very well be prepared to trade off something else - possibly removal of the Super 2 arbitration limit - in exchange.
