I don't know anybody who likes listening to Harold Reynolds. And yet, despite some major MeToo issues, he somehow remains on the MLB Network. How?
My introduction to Morel came last night when he led off the game by striking out on three straight pitches, the last two of which were low and outside by a mile. But it was all uphill from there, and he seems like the real deal.

Morel is probably due for a nasty spell sometime soon as pitchers find whatever his weakness is. Also just regression to the mean -- he's hitting something like 340 on GB and 300 on FB (both around a 200 sOPS+ which compares his OPS in that split to the league average) and hitting a ton of GB. But he hits the ball hard and, as a hitter, reminds me of Javy Baez with more walks (and so far fewer Ks but I'm guessing his K-rate will go up), probably less power. Or Jeter with more Ks (and therefore lower BA) but more power; so far a similar GB/FB/LD and pull/mid/oppo profiles. Of course he won't have Javy's defensive wizardry but he's looked capable so far -- he's been mainly 3B-SS, only 430 innings in CF before coming to the majors so some adjustment challenges are expected.
