that'll build credibility. As will
Not gonna lie, "The Yankee Pariah" would be a pretty great nickname.
I'm sorry, but have you learned nothing from the last five years? The lure of celebrity, unattached from ability or anything else, is enormous. "A-Rod's real estate company" would turn off a lot of serious people, and draw in a lot of people with at least some money and not much sense -- of whom there are far, far, far, far, far more.
for what, now?
Yeah, scratch that.
post 1 winning the race so far
by a nose over post 13.
Yeah, it's a great way to rack up multiple bankruptcies.
And Trump at least could make a claim to be a lifestyle brand. A-Rod can't claim anything similar, at least not back in 2003.
I don't claim any expertise here, but has going into business with your brother in law ever been a good idea? Isn't that, like, one of the classic new money mistakes? You'd think that part of an agent's job would be dissuading clients from doing things like this.
I love to hate on A-Rod, but it seems like he's been relatively smart with his money throughout his career. As for this deal with his ex-brother-in-law, it sounds like he structured it with the appropriate legal protections and was able to get his money out.
And of course, now he's marrying one of the few women out there who might have more money than he does.
