The Atlanta Braves signed veteran outfielder Jordan Luplow to a $1.4 million, one-year contract on Monday.
The 29-year-old Luplow hit .176 with 11 homers and drove in 28 runs in 83 games with Arizona in 2022. The right-handed hitter had eight homers against left-handers last season.

1. John Reynard Posted: December 20, 2022 at 02:23 PM (#6110208)Kinda the definition of a 5th OF, desperate DH which is the sort of thing you spend $1.4 M on. He's not there to take PAs away from Ozuna (who's more the DH anyway), he's there to fill some of the PAs that went to Duvall and Grossman and provide an option if Rosario tanks again.
