Twins shortstop Carlos Correa has been diagnosed with a muscle strain in his left foot arch and plantar fasciitis, per John Shipley of the St. Paul Pioneer Press. Correa hasn’t yet been placed on the injured list but it seems like that’s still on the table. “I think we get to Friday and some of our decisions might be made for us,” manager Rocco Baldelli says.

Thanks, I messed up and eyeballed quickly. So 5.6 years and roughly 190 million remaining.
Just an injury prone player that's been underperforming badly in the first year of his deal.
Twins are screwed with him.
I could see that effecting a knee or hip, but causing plantar....could be a reach, but I'm willing to be open minded about it.
Its hard to take these injury reports at face value for obvious reasons. Even if its not related to the previous degenerative condition, plantar fasciitis is pretty concerning by itself. Gee.
