At the time they put him on the RL, they said they were in contact with him.
The more personalized version of "it is what it is."
Sure. But you removed the context of my statement -- if nobody has been in contact for three weeks, if he's ducking everybody's calls, then the man is in trouble. If he's holed up at mom's and everybody concerned knows he's "OK" then fine.
