The Dodgers re-signed reliever Tanyon Sturtze to a minor-league contract and invited him to spring training.
Sturtze pitched in three games for the Dodgers last season before being designated for assignment before being hired as the team’s third bullpen catcher.
Nothing can stop the Dodgers from winning the World Series now!

Or will Sturtze pitch and catch?
It would make discovery easier during their class action lawsuit.
Not really -- you have one warm up the pitchers, one tend to the tomato garden, and one screw in the light bulbs. A model of modern efficiency.
So I guess we can scratch Sturtze off the list of suspects for "veteran ace who cried when Torre sent him out to the mound".
Definitely. I can't think of any off the top of my head, but I think one of the parks that has the double decker outfield bullpens has three.
And just like Sturtze is trying to do, Sveum would be an active player the next season.
Take that Craig Biggio and Rick Ankiel!
