Does shortstop depth shift Orioles away from highest-priced free agents? - Blog

With so many top prospects close to the majors, do the Orioles really want to dive into the deep part of the free-agent pool this year? They should be able to compete for the Wild Card this year with a few lower-priced veteran pickups and make bigger splashes in another year or two when it’s clear where their specific needs are.

Sign Correa and use the depth to fill 2B and 3B with quality. Plus, you'll need SS backup for Correa cause its not like he always plays 162 games or something like a former Baltimore SS.
