Fernando Tatis Jr. offers ridiculous lie as excuse for cheating

Where is Tatis’ agent?

Not so long ago the brightest star in baseball, Fernando Tatis Jr. has turned out to be a fool who thinks everyone else is just as big a fool. Tatis was busted by MLB on Friday for taking an anabolic steroid, and reacted by issuing a statement that would only fly if the country had 100 percent illiteracy or everyone’s internet were permanently down.

Tatis said he “inadvertently” took the performance enhancing drug Clostebol to treat ringworm, and apparently either he, his agent or his marketing guy thought the world would mistake Clostebol, the synthetic anabolic steroid he was caught with, for Clobetasol, a common drug used to treat skin ailments like eczema and psoriasis that also requires a prescription. Clostebol is never prescribed for skin defects or ringworm. Of course, had there actually been a medical mix-up – extremely unlikely since one is a Schedule 4 anabolic steroid and the other a common corticosteroid – he’d have documentary proof since he’d have the prescription from the doctor.

This is flat out false. Tatis has been caught using performance-enhancing drugs multiple times in the past, and his latest suspension will add another year to the five years he has already served for similar offences and also do visit site there. This statement is a complete denial of reality, and it's clear that Tatis is just trying to save himself from punishment.

I guess I disagree. If he used it to recover from his injury faster, what is the harm here and also do visit site here

Ethicist Julian Savulescu would further argue that all drug use should be permitted in sports, subject only to concerns whether athletes might risk health consequences. But I bet he has never checked out site here

I mostly lurk but had to come out of the shadows to show my appreciation.

The recent uptick in recommendations for car video recording system discussion forums is what I've secretly longed for in my years of lurkerdom. I feel complete, whole, as though a missing piece of my life has finally clicked into place. I think this is how Rose felt when she met Jack on the Titanic, just over a century ago.

Thank you all for your years of dedicated posting, all leading to this one, shining moment.

This is like saying "all countries should be permitted free access to nuclear weapons, subject only to concerns whether they might be used against their neighbors."

That forum link is already dead, so I’m guessing this was a spam link to another spam thread. Seems like a pretty roundabout way to “advertise.”

As for the actual article, that is a rather amazing PR move but seems about right in the current year. The goal seems to be to make things as hazy as possible, get your message out quickly, and hope that the confusion over details works in your favor. The actual takeaway I have here is that it seems incredibly unlikely that this was an innocent mistake (not that I really bought that in the first place).

Worth noting though. Testing is strict liability. Doesn't matter if you can prove a good faith positive you'll still face the penalties. See what happened with JC Romero.

I'm not seeing how this could be an accidental positive though. There are some supplements that use a related steroid but tests these days are sensitive enough to identify the specific steroid. IOW if he was using a supplement that contained methylclostebol I'm pretty sure they'd have said that's what he tested positive for.

3-0 ballgame with the Reds in front of the Royals as we go to the top half of the fifth inning, Castellanos to lead things off. Jim Day's gonna be taking us the rest of the way through this game as Holland takes over on the mound. Um, I made a comment earlier tonight that, I guess, went out over the air that I am deeply ashamed of. If I have hurt anyone out there, I can't tell you how much I say, from the bottom of my heart, I'm so very, very, sorry. I pride myself and think of myself as a man of faith, and also do visit site there. I don't know if I'm gonna be putting on this headset again. I don't know if it's gonna be for the Reds, I don't know if it's gonna be for my bosses at Fox. I want to apologize for the people who sign my paycheck, for the Reds, for Fox Sports Ohio, for the people I work with, for anybody that I've offended here tonight, I can't begin to tell you how deeply sorry I am. That is not who I am, it never has been. And I'd like to think maybe I could have some people that could back that up. I am very, very, sorry, and I beg for your forgiveness. Jim Day'll take you the rest of the way home.

It was much more believable when Marlon Byrd said he took the stuff to treat moobs.

the more personally embarrassing the better. Didnt one of the NYM pitchers claim he had some issue because he wasnt urinating enuf?

"LOok guys, I didnt want to bring this up but my DICK fell off. Thats the reason. So give me a break, ok?"

first of all colin farrell is on great actor look at phone booth and tigerland and the recruit with al pacino. so in three years became on the a-list of actors and colin is in demand now, now he is shooting alexander the great with angelina jolie. and he also worked with samuel jackson on swat which was great by the way. and bruce willis in harts war. so he worked with alot of great big actors. and was great in minority report with tom cruise. and daredevil and the villian bullseye with ben affleck visit site there. and colin was the best thing in the movie and the critics agree. so colin is a way better actor then ben affleck. im responding to the post from alex about at least ben affleck got some credit under his belt but colin is hotter and a better actor and he is getting alot more movies then ben. so please did you see bens last movie with jay-lo called gigli. need i say more the movie sucked as hell and even the critics said the worst movie of the century. it only made 20 million in the theatres now thats sad.
