I think he has a career, which may make him good value at the end of the first round, but there are also multiple surgeries in his future.
I'm a big fan of looking for guys who seem to have slipped from high pick to late first round. I think sometimes guys get overscouted and people start seeing the flaws rather than the positives. Rocker is a bit similar I think and the Mets are in the perfect position to take the chance.
Then why would you take him in the first round? Nearly every team has multiple closer level-relievers every year, many of them coming out of nowhere. The Yankees have an entire bull-pen of low round picks, cheap FAs and retreads.
