That is the best comment accompanying an article I have eer seen on this site.

I agree with Rusty. I was expecting, "Let's have two!" but I agree that the comment above is far better.

The daughters will be twin terrors should they take up sports. Has there ever been a better genectic Dad-Mom pairing for athletics? HOF skill level MLB player/World's greatest female soccer player? Ray Knight/Nancy Lopez comes to mind as another, not as good example.

I'd like to nominate this quip for a "Repozy" award.

Steffi Graff and Andre Agassi's kids have pretty great genes.

I'm expecting them to name the kids Aim and Ynohtna.

For some reason, this thread brings to mind the last BBTF thread about two girls that could thank Nomar for being alive.

"Wonder Twin powers, activate!"

"Form of...an ice ring!"

"Shape of...an elephant!"

(elephant takes ring in trunk, extends ring to woman flailing in Boston Harbor, who grasps ring and is pulled from the water)

If I was Nomar, Mia would be the mother of about 59 kids.

Yao Ming is a product of a government-arranged marriage specifically designed to produce China's greatest basketball player.

Mia's probably glad he didn't save four girls.

Wilt Chamberlain was only 44 when Yao Ming was born. Did he accompany any NBA "goodwill" tours of Japan in 1979-1980?

Don Drysdale and Ann Meyers.
   17. Foghorn Leghorn Posted: March 29, 2007 at 06:12 PM (#2320318)
Wayne Gretzky and Janet Jones.

Bret Hedican and Kristi Yamaguchi.

If they had had any kids, Bart Connor and Nadia Comenici.

Mia Hamm and me.

OK, I bring very little to the discussion but height and enthusiasm, and we're actually not married. But if we were, well, geez, that'd be awesome.

She was a near-unanimous selection to the National Soccer Hall of Fame last month.

Near-unanimous? What the hell would you have do to be unanimous?

Celebrating a goal Brandi Chastain-style probably would have won over then last few voters.

Wayne Gretzky and Janet Jones.

Bret Hedican and Kristi Yamaguchi.

Ralph Kiner and first wife Nancy Chafee.

And if being a foxy lady qualifies as a sport, then Tom Brady and Bridget Moynahan definitely qualify.

So she should have married Melvin Mora?

Sorry to pile on, but that's just brilliant.

Perhaps Repoz finally has a worthy competitor.

Emil Zatopek (perhaps the greatest long-distance runner of all time, 4 Olympic golds, 18 world records) and Dana Zatopkova (Olympic gold medal winner and world record holder in the javelin).

I have one pinch-hit home run, and people are making comparisons to Pujols. Sheesh.

Heh, I still chuckle when I think of Moe Jorgan's: "Billy Beane should not have thrown those women into the water."

It was perfect: timing, everything.

Best Regards

John

Everyone sitting by me at work seems puzzled why I'm laughing so hard.

Oh well, I suppose it beats the looks I got when I was screaming at my computer.
