Giants fans pull off epic McCovey Cove hangout with inflatable swan

There was a stunning performance on Wednesday during the Cubs-Giants game at Oracle Park, and it wasn’t necessarily by someone on the field.

This was a portrayal of Swan Lake. Well, sorta ...

A group of enthusiastic Giants fans took to McCovey Cove with an inflatable, royal swan:

SWAN!!!!

Not sure what makes this epic. Is it the mere launching of this in the Cove? These Swans are fairly available (as noted in #3) and have been clogging rivers, streams, and lakes elsewhere. A river I canoe each summer, they discourage these, as the canoe rental/launch operators can't really ban them, they just refuse to haul the riders back, as inevitably the Swan will puncture and I suspect are abandoned by the drunken fools in the river. Swans this size and even smaller are typically banned from most private/public pools. Our lifeguards ban anything that they can't see behind or under.

Wow - that’s the classic grumpy old man “get off my lawn “ response times 5. Just need to work in a little climate change rant and it will be perfect

All this swan talk makes me wonder whether anyone thought that
"Oracle Park" sounds alot like
"Oriole Park"

Few words have been devalued as much in recent years as "epic."

And that's why it's best to avoid both. Camden Yards and China Basin.

Can you feel it, see it, hear it today?
If you can't, then it doesn't matter anyway
You will never understand it 'cause it happens too fast
And it feels so good, it's like walking on glass
It's so cool, it's so hip, it's alright
It's so groovy, it's outta sight
You can touch it, smell it, taste it so sweet
But it makes no difference 'cause it knocks you off your feet

I care a lot about Zonk's post. Yeah, you bet I care a lot.

Sounds to me like...

You're somewhere in between.
Your love and your agony.

I'm not *that* old and I had the same reaction as #4.
