The Minnesota Twins unveiled new uniforms on Friday featuring redesigned home, away and alternate looks in addition to a new secondary hat and a revamped font…
The new home jersey features the Twins script across the chest that no longer has a drop shadow or multiple colors, now written just in red. Additionally, the “win” in Twins is underlined, a tradition introduced when Minnesota won the World Series in 1987. The away uniforms also feature pinstripes, which were previously only on the alternate home uniforms from 2010-2018.

Just go back to the uniform Rod Carew wore ca 1970. That was obviously the one true Twins uni.
The road cap is perfectly fine for a baseball team, just not for the Twins.
In contrast, I'd like to see all powder blue uniforms forever banished to the hell from which they escaped. I like the idea of teams getting more creative in uniform design (and this Twins makeover most definitely isn't it), but powder blue was always a monstrosity (and, like you, they were prevalent during my baseball-watching heydey. I hated them then, too).
The Royals had my favorite version, but the Twins wasn't bad, either..

No uniform in history has ever been nearly as lame as some of those "City Connect" jobs, which range from too too precious to downright hideous (The Yellow Sox and "WSH" being the worst). More power to teams that resist trotting out alternate jerseys at every opportunity.
While I recognize that we all have our own opinions, the marketing team that designed the Padres City Connect uniform should never be consulted for anything more than a beer league softball team ever again. The Padres City Connect uniforms are absolutely hideous. And while I loathe all things Red Sox, I kinda dig their City Connect uniforms. For me I just think about the Boston Marathon bombing and I think it's a nice touch.
Contra to that, I loved the cream and navy pinstripes they introduced when they first moved to Target Field in 2010. Those were awesome. The powder blues are from when I was 10 and I am indifferent to them. I hated the steel colored pinstripe roadies from the 1991 team and that MINNESOTA thing on the far left is way too close. I don't mind the Twins script that Buxton is wearing though.
