MLB.com: Luhnow chats with Astros season ticket holders

So what does the new Houston GM say? Well . .. .

aandycfb: Do you have any favorite baseball blogs?

Jeff Luhnow: Hardball Times, Baseball Prospectus, The Book, among others. There are so many smart people writing about baseball ... it’s great for the game.

Not BTF? Are you the biggest idiot ever?

The live chat was available to all fans and not just season ticket holders, as far as can tell, by the way.

His team should be taken away.

Didn't someone around here say that Luhnow posted a comment at BTF five or six years ago?

As long as he considers fangraphs the 6th best baseball website, he's OK.

in the great astros tradition, he says exactly nothing. sounds like the old chats with tim purpura.

why would any texan BECOME an astros fan?

i can't think of any reason and neither can he

Yeah, in post 49 here. It might've been a fake, but it came right after he asked a Cards blogger how much he thought Edgar Renteria was worth.

closer proximity to their home city than the Rangers, not remotely related to Dallas, therefore not theoretically evil(I mean a city responsible for both the Dallas tv show and the Cowboys has to do an awful lot of good to make up for that---and Debbie is not enough)

There is no reason not to be an Astros fan to be honest. Who wants to be a bandwagoner for the Cowyboys..I mean Rangers?

9 - neither team is in the NL so who cares.

i'd rather root for the cards alongside my mama

or the braves. or the crew. or even - God help me - the pirates
