The Memphis Redbirds, the Triple-A affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals, are holding an “Organ Donor Night” at AutoZone Park on Aug. 13 and these are the jerseys that they are planning to wear:

IIRC, they sometimes transplant the small intestine, at least.

No, but once they sucker you into signing that donor card anything goes. I think they use 'em to make violin strings.
Wow, I didn't know that this cartoon was based on reality. Holy...
It sounds incredibly disgusting, but they're amazing and can really help people. A guy I knew had one (from his wife) after chemo and treatments for several nasty infections killed off all of his useful gut flora. It really turned him around, ultimately it probably saved his life.
Don't know but I can hear Ozzie's rant now ... "We were honoring Nancy Faust tonight right? Well we ran the ####### bases like our ####### players were carrying ####### organs on their ####### backs, those two-bit worthless pieces of ####."
