So the game going according to the forecast: Tulane's defense is overmatched and isn't going to force punts, but it might get stops with one-off USC mistakes. And Tulane's offense has a shot to make it a shootout against USC's inept defense.
But no more punts on short fourth downs!
Don't ####### punt.
So it's 10-10 instead 10-3 Illinois, and Mississippi State is driving for a game-winning field goal.
I mean, they're not getting stops when the Trojans have 95+ yards to go, so not much is lost.
USC was at 99.8% to win with 4:30 left.
Couldn't have gone better from this perspective.
for utah, it's one of the biggest bowl games they've ever been in.
for penn state, they're playing utah. in a season where they finished behind two other teams in the B1G legends/leaders east/west standings.
I didn't catch the live feed, but watched the replay this morning. Godspeed to Damar.

The outcome of the game was probably not changed by this call.
The early 00s Hurricanes and Trojans are probably the standard. Joe Burrow's LSU team came to mind, but they didn't crush teams the way UGA did. Alabama's teams are all indistinguishable to me, although I'm sure some of them are in the conversation.
