First round was entertaining certainly and it sets up interesting second round matches. Ranked in order of how good they will be;


Tampa - Florida: This should be great. Two talented teams that can make any mistake count. Neither team should be able to take a shift off. Prediction: Florida in 7.
Calgary - Edmonton: This is a doozy too. Neither team is as good as the Florida teams in my opinion which drops this down a bit but the animosity will be heavy. Matthew Tkachuk will get punched a lot. Prediction: Calgary in 6
Carolina - NYR: This feels like a style series. Like the series against Boston if Carolina can keep it flowing they are the team to beat. If the Rangers can draw them in and force more start/stop type stuff they can do it. Shesterkin is the X factor. He's the goalie most capable of taking a team on his back among the teams that are left IMO. Prediction: Rangers in 6.
Colorado - St. Louis: I look forward to being mocked for this one but I think this is similar to the Avs first round series. Blues get a game but Avs have too much. Prediction: Colorado in 5.
