Mets plan to provide an update soon on Noah Syndergaard, who left after pitching only one inning for St. Lucie tonight. He was scheduled to go at least four innings.
5.25... Noah Syndergaard made an early exit from his second rehab start Tuesday at Low-A St. Lucie "for precautionary reasons due to right elbow soreness," according to a statement from the Mets.
Spin: Syndergaard was supposed to throw at least four innings but departed after just one. Hopefully it's just a routine bit of discomfort as he makes his way back from Tommy John reconstructive elbow surgery and not any sort of significant setback.
what could go wrong?
Villar failed at 3rd base with 1 out to douse a threat. then deGrom went for a double (yes, he CAN hit - .471 this season), and Rockies SS Story kept tagging him, with let's say a hint of vigor.
has a runner ever been called safe because it was ruled that the fielder shoved him off the bag? asking for a friend.

RHP Corey Kluber left tonight's game with tightness in his right shoulder. He will be further evaluated tomorrow, which will include MRI imaging.
Not sure that was a good move or a bad move, but I guess you get the out no matter what when up 5-0....
said it was "nothing like last year."
I'm saying there's a chance...
deGrom struck out 9 in 5 innings, leaving with the score tied 1-1. Mets picked up the win but deGrom was not the pitcher of record.
Our best hitter right now is Tomas Nido. Our second-best hitter is Jacob deGrom.
