Left-handed reliever Brad Hand and the Philadelphia Phillies are in agreement on a one-year, $6 million contract, sources familiar with the deal told ESPN’s Jeff Passan.
Hand, 31, pitched for the Nationals, Blue Jays and Mets last season, posting a 6-7 record with a 3.90 ERA and 21 saves.
A three-time All-Star with 126 career saves, Hand was shipped to Toronto for catcher Riley Adams as part of a Washington teardown leading up to the trade deadline.

1. Lonnie Smith for president Posted: March 14, 2022 at 12:29 PM (#6067715)(FTR, the Phillies pen has been insanely annoying these last two seasons. Archie Bradley didn't really help last year, and it remains to be seen if Messrs. Knebel, Familia and Hand will improve it a bit).
I predict a deadline deal for Adam Ottavino.
Surprised to see him get 1/6.
Hand has also lost quite a bit of velocity IIRC for a guy that didn't have tons to spare.
