Southern Maryland Blue Crabs will allow fans to attend games in planned Atlantic League season

The Atlantic League’s Southern Maryland Blue Crabs, High Point Rockers and Long Island Ducks are working with other professional teams to finalize a 70-game schedule that would start in mid-July and conclude with a five-game championship series in late September, the league announced Friday.
If the 70-game season does proceed, it is not yet clear whether every team’s ballpark will open to fans, [League President Rick] White said.

Put it this way for the likelihood of fan's in the ballpark for the Atlantic League this company leases a suite on Long Island - the lease ran out after last season and we were in the middle of negotiating an extension when the pandemic hit. I've heard from them once (and that was to ask how we were doing) since then...the Ducks (at least) have no illusions of a full ballpark any time guess is if anything they'll open up some limited availability to season ticket holders, or 500-1000 game day tickets...but without a crowd there is essentially zero revenue for the teams.
