Starlin Castro homers in 10th, lifts Miami over Phillies 3-1

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Starlin Castro nearly knocked himself out of the game before he knocked one out of the park.

Castro hit a two-run homer with two outs in the 10th inning after fouling a pitch off his foot, lifting the Miami Marlins to a 3-1 victory over the Philadelphia Phillies on Thursday night.

“I just wanted an opportunity that inning,” Castro said. “That guy (Hector Neris) is really good. I kept a good approach, looked for a fastball I can drive.”

So, when does Starlin Castro become a Yankee?
