Whether or not Wade Boggs actually downed a whopping 107 beers that day is still up for debate, but many — including Frank from the “Always Sunny” gang — see it as completely plausible. “Nobody can drink that much,” Dennis comments. Frank’s response? “Not with an attitude like that.”

Just about 45 years ago, my roommate threw a bash that had about three people show up. I inherited the nearly full half-keg, and the next day another friend and I put it in a laundry cart, threw a blanket over it, and wheeled it across campus to his room. It was the dream: two drunks, and a nearly full keg that no one else knew about....

I haven't read the article, but I assume in a few years the legend will supposedly be up to 200 beers or even higher. When I first heard it the number was 60. For "Always Sunny" they used 70.

1. There are way more efficient ways to abuse alcohol but I guess Boggs was just a singles hitter
2. That's got to be 214 minutes in the bathroom pissing so it better be a damn long flight.

Andre's liver is the stuff of folklore but admittedly tinged with sadness knowing he was abusing alcohol to cope with the pain of his condition. A way less complicated and fascinating bit of trivia: Andre and several other children in his village were frequently driven to school by their neighbor...Samuel Beckett.
