As Dag Wentim at SABR points out…“This is fantastic ... a group has put together a comprehensive list of every public baseball statue in the U.S. and Canada.”
Where statues depict multiple subjects, each subject is listed in a separate row of the table.
Dates are given in UK format i.e. day/month/year.
We have excluded non-subject-specific statues that are produced by sculptors for sale as large or unlimited editions, due both to their ubiquity and difficulty to track: for example Mark Lundeen’s ‘Casey at The Bat’ and Gary Price’s ‘The Natural’.
Unveiling dates refer to the unveiling of a statue in its original public location; where statues have subsequently been relocated this is noted on their specific page.
For individual statue page inscription transcriptions, any text in parentheses is part of the actual inscription; text in square brackets is comments or further information.

Swish Nicholson in his hometown?
I was actually there the day they unveiled that statue. Don Zimmer showed up, Cal Ripken and Rick Dempsey sent in video tributes. The statue is a bit small though.
