The Post’s Ken Davidoff confirmed that the Yankees agreed to a deal with side-arm throwing righty Darren O’Day on Wednesday.
O’Day, 38, spent most of his career with the Orioles, with whom he was an All-Star in 2015, but played the past two seasons with the Braves. O’Day pitched to a 1.10 ERA in 19 appearances and 16 1/3 innings for Atlanta last season.

So it's pretty cool to see O'Day sticking around all these years later.
If you're a MLB reliever at one time in your life and your name is mentioned in the same conversation as the 3 guys listed above, I think you could be proud of your career.
.368/.571/1.000 in 28 plate appearances
Top 10 OPS vs O'Day, minimum 10 plate appearances:
From MLB website:
April 18, 2009 - New York Mets designated RHP Darren O'Day for assignment.
April 19, 2009 - New York Mets designated RHP Nelson Figueroa for assignment.
The first two parts were correct, but Fossum doesn't appear on the MLB site for some reason.
BBRef/Wikipedia say that Casey Fossum:
January 16, 2009: Signed as a Free Agent with the New York Mets. (Wikipedia links to a Buffo News article that says it was a minor league deal.)
April 30, 2009: Granted Free Agency.
So, your memory is probably correct.
