That was at least mildly sarcastic.

At this point, I think Pat Borders owes Bavasi some kind of job.

See, audio ruins things for me when I find out how people's names are REALLY pronounced. (always thought it was ba-vah-see)

You rock Dan.

The cells bit was great.

Zim's voice sounds eerily like mine, I think. Someone who's heard both of us will have to confirm this.

Was that Dan, or guest star Ira Glass?

Ahh the Horacio Ramirez trade. A wonderful part of Braves history.

I think Horacio Ramirez pretty much sums up Bill Bavasi's stint with the Mariners.

This doesn't count as the promised podcast, so don't think you've ducked that.

Was that Dan, or guest star Ira Glass?

I was wondering the same thing.

Gosh, I wish I had audio right now. 8-(

Daniel, baby, we're going to need to get you a voice coach if this is the next wave.

That sounds costy.

That sounds costy.

Never cheap the art, Dan.

I'm not so sure. Snelling/Fruto/$$$$ for Vidro might be better. Or maybe Jones/Sherrill/Tillman for Bedard.

Or maybe the Carl Everett era. Or the Carlos Silva contract. Maybe the Johjima extension? Or perhaps it was the Washburn signing.

Forget the Ira Glass impersonation. That's fish in a barrell. What you really need to do, Dan, is find yourself a pencilina player and found a King Missle cover band. You could wear your popr gear. Just promise you'll open with "Gary and Melissa"...

Actually, that's my normal voice.
