Dial brought several packs of baseball cards from the 1980's to the last SABR convention, which we opened while drinking. I had forgotten how much I enjoyed ripping open a pack of cards and getting a Jay Tibbs or a Mike LaCoss

This might just get me to rejoin SABR after letting my membership lapse some years back.

Subject: New Baseball Cards committee blog

On Monday I told you all about the reformation of SABR's Baseball Card
Committee. This followup note is to let you know that the committee has
set up a blog, a place for members to post research, observations, reviews,
about the long history (and present and future) of baseball cards.

This is the blog:
https://sabrbaseballcards.blog/

If you are interested in following along, please "follow" the blog -- there
is a button over to the right side of the page just above the "Blogroll."
This will inform you when something new is posted.

If you want to participate further, you are more than welcome to join the
committee.

Take care,
Mark Armour

To summarize, if you want to join the committee and help do what we do (and even lead us to do different things), you should first join SABR, and then join the committee. Everyone is welcome.

So far, we have a moderated blog. All committee members can ask to be "contributors" and post material. This is your chance to tell us all about the 1983 Donruss Action All-Stars.

If you want to do nothing except follow along, you can just "follow" the blog (there is a button over to the right). You will be informed when new things are posted.
