RP29: Statistical Predictors of MLB Players’ Proneness to Long Hitting Streaks
Alan Reifman and Trent McCotter
Hit for a high average, don't walk, and preferabley hit at the top of the order for a team that scores a bunch. Shouldn't take long.

SABR Convention Daily Schedule
This seems pretty good too,
4:30 p.m.-4:55 p.m. (Salon C/D, 5th floor)
RP30: Battle at the Dock: The Federal League Tries to Sign Major League Players as They Return from the Around-the-World Tour

re #1: be willing to bunt for a single regardless of whether it helps the team win, in an effort to extend your hitting streak, because you are maniacally focusing on it.
(but whine like a baby when someone stops your hitting streak by throwing a pansy chage-up instead of challenging you like a man with a fastball!)
Online, SABR lists the following people as attending this convention:
Colin Wyers
Mike Webber
Mr. High Standards
Mark Armour
Chris Dial
Joe Dimino
Sean Forman
Anthony Giacalone
Aaron Gleeman
Dag Nabbit
deJesus freak, or whatever he username is now
Rob Neyer
Neal Traven
SABRina
F.X. Flinn
Mike Emeigh is listed, but can’t go after all.
Larry indicated that he won't be officially attending the convention, but hopes to be around.
Among the nonlisted: Ben Jacobs, Harold, Daly/GGC, AJM, Steve Treder, Will Young, Davo, Phil Birnbaum, BobT, fra paolo, studes, Jim Furtado, Larry Granillo, Jay Nabbit (no relation), Bernal Diaz, dmunk, repoz, Geoff Young, and others.
It doesn’t mean that none of those in the paragraph just above are going—just that they weren’t registered by Date X that SABR used to generate their list from. The only one I know for sure isn’t coming is studes, though I’d be surprised to some others like, ranging from Davo to Geoff Young.
I know I’m missing the first day due to work responsibilities. My flight lands (checks) - nuts, around 10 PM Thursday night. Yeah, so I’m really missing that first day totally.
RP12: A Probabilistic Approach to Measuring the Excitement of Baseball Games

Apparently I'm attending in spirit, at least...

I'm sure RP12 will be a perfectly good presentation, but its title is probably the best ammunition SABR has ever provided to the "get out of your mother's basement" crowd.
Going:Colin Wyers

Mr. High Standards
Mark Armour
Chris Dial
Joe Dimino
Sean Forman
Anthony Giacalone

Not:
Harold
Emeigh
Studes
GGC
AJM
Davo
Unknown:
Ben Jacobs, Steve Treder, Will Young, Phil Birnbaum (unlikely), BobT, fra paolo, Jim Furtado, Larry Granillo, Jay Nabbit (no relation), Bernal Diaz, dmunk, repoz, Geoff Young
By and large, almost all the unknowns are unlikely, excpet for maybe Treder and BobT and maybe one other. Now that I think about, Geoff Young once told me he almost never leaves the west coast, so he probably doesn't belong on the list at all.
